Great Canadian Theatre Company

GCTC was Friction's longest-standing client. We did work with them for over twenty years. The challenge inherent in working year-over-year for one organization is to supply variety. we looked upon each year's branding exercise as an opportunity to experiment a little with aspects of the design. Some years we chose to use un-retouched photography as the major graphic element, other years, illustration. Sometimes we commissioned work, sometimes we did it ourselves. Whatever happened, it was always a challenge, and always exiting in one way or another.
